![]() But finally i booted it up and wasted away the weeks ahead playing it. When we got home i had to wait for my brother to finish playing metal gear solid because we bought it together and hes older so he automatically got first crack at it. I couldn’t borrow it from my friend because he just got his whole binder of PlayStation games stolen. When i finally managed to get a PlayStation it was one of the top games on my list to get. As he looked at the screen i could see a sigh of relief wash over him. I yelled into the other room for him to come look. Just then a story event happened and one of the npcs came to rescue the heroes. He left the room for a few minutes to calm down while i watched the screen. ![]() Needless to say he was freaking out, he just spent all this time getting through it just to get screwed in the end. One big memory i have of it is him finally getting through one of the dungeons, beating the boss and right after, a timer started to count down to escape but there was no way to get out of the room he was in. I distinctly remember playing it at my friends house on his PlayStation because i didn’t own one myself yet. It had a certain kind of quirkiness with its world and its characters that i enjoyed. ![]() ![]() Although it wasn’t my first rpg, Legend of Legaia was probably the first one that plunged me into the world of the Japanese turn based style. ![]()
